REPLACEMENT ULTRAROOF ORANGERY
A light and bright new space has been re-established following the installation of an advanced orangery roofing system – the Ultraroof.
What was a largely neglected and ageing orangery has become a place its delighted owners now cannot get enough of after we removed the old roof and put the Ultraroof in its place. The manufacturing of the Ultraroof was all done completely off-site and involved us adding three glass panels to the covering.
This ensured that the installation could be completed quickly and efficiently. In the perimeter pelmet is a series of downlighters as the occupants were keen to get maximum usage out of the design as much at night-time as in the daytime. You can see that they have set it up to be a multi-purpose space fit for both lounging and dining.
A Golden Oak finish was selected for the design with good reason – to help the extension blend in with the building. Mission accomplished we would say! The inclusion of French doors was also viewed as being crucial so that the occupants have the option of being able to move from their orangery to their outdoor setting with the utmost ease. There’s no question though that it’s the Ultraroof that has contributed most to putting a smile on everyone’s faces. Those glazed panels make it feel so energised and give it a vibrant feel that you just cannot drag yourself away from. It’s enough to make anyone want to raise a glass.
