It is possible to adapt most conservatory styles, even the most classic styles, to suit your home. This project saw us create a compact version of the Edwardian conservatory where we still managed to retain many of its original traits. For instance, it has a rectangular base with lots of available floor space. This base was constructed using a similar kind of brickwork to the brickwork used to construct the house itself. You also see a number of decorative touches, such as the sophisticated cresting, and beautiful perimeter ceiling.
The occupants were so surprised when they saw how much room they had to play with and it encouraged them to put a couple of armchairs in there so they could really embrace it. The loftiness of the roofing system is a key factor where the spaciousness is concerned and the roof also helps with thermal performance. There are several top opening windows in there for when things get at all stuffy and use of the French doors comes in useful when some al fresco dining is possible. When it came to colour it simply had to be a traditional white and its bright, white look draws so much emphasise to the extension.
